Sea Change Mentoring has created its first Board of Advisors. Made up of one of the most respected youth mentoring researchers, visionary international school leaders, and entrepreneurs in education and technology, this group is pretty spectacular. With the Council of International Schools adding transitions support to their 2016 accreditation requirements, the growing interest in both mentoring and personalization in the international school world and with Sea Change Mentoring landing the Singapore American School partnership, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
Over the course of the next two weeks, we will be introducing these new members to the rest of our Sea Change Mentoring community.
First up is Michael Nachbar, the Executive Director of Global Online Academy. We invited Michael to be on the board because of his success in leading his organization, tackling online education with innovation, insight, an understanding of what the future might hold, and a genuine investment in young people’s learning around the world. Michael has been supportive of our work over the years and says he is honored to serve on this board. A fan of Global Online Academy and of Michael as a leader in education, the honor is truly ours.
